Webster Energy Services Ltd. (WES) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Webster Drilling & Exploration Ltd. and operates the geothermal drilling and services sector of the business.
Our geothermal capability is headed by our highly capable Drillmec HH350 700,000 lb geothermal drilling package, which has completed over 50 large-bore geothermal wells in the Taupō Volcanic Zone since its entry into New Zealand in 2012.

Our senior management team is composed of experienced individuals who have accrued many years of experience, specialising in the roles of driller, rig manager, rig mechanic and electrician, rig systems compliance expert, cementer, and HSE system developers and auditors. This broad range of skills and experience serves us well in managing the ever-changing environment of the energy drilling sector.
In addition, WESL and NOVA-1 maintain a WorkSafe High Hazards Unit-approved, unconditional safety case for oil and gas operations in New Zealand. Our ongoing commitment to this safety case ensures that our operations meet a significantly higher organisational safety threshold than many other geothermal packages in New Zealand and abroad.
