Over the years Webster Drilling has undertaken many mineral exploration projects throughout New Zealand. These projects have primarily been concerned with the locating of :

- coal
- gold
- limestone
- aggregates

For most projects of this type a continuous wireline coring method is employed using either ATV or heliportable drilling rigs.
